SEO is not always about SEO
We’ve touched upon this subject several times but for some reason people often forget about and keep doing what they were already doing, anyway. SEO is not only about SEO. The amount of flash you have on your website can be a great influence. This goes double for your website design, and even the loading speed of your site. If people get too annoyed at the amount of time they have to wait for your site to load (read more than three seconds, tops), they tend to leave, which increases your bounce and sends all your good work to the trash. Those are not mere technicalities. Take notice.
Update your content
This is something that people don’t do nearly enough. Updating your content is important. It tells your clients that you have something going on in your site and that you’re totally an unstoppable machine made of pure awesomeness (maybe we’re exaggerating a bit). It also signals the same thing to Google. From Google’s perspective, you’re paying attention to your content and clients, so you should be rewarded. Google loves rewarding.
Use Google+
Fine, we get it. You don’t like Google+. It doesn’t matter that it’s one of the biggest social networks in the world – many people say it’s a ghost town, so it is. Right? Wrong! Utilizing Google+ is becoming much more important, partly because the platform is gaining speed, and partly because Google are trying to enforce it. At any rate – use it.
